WARSAW – The Warsaw Speedway will open under its new name come July.
The Warsaw Motorsports Complex is set to open with a monster truck bash on July 12, according to a release posted today on the Kosciusko Community Fair’s Facebook page.
The newly named complex at the fairgrounds will hold the truck bash sponsored by Monteith’s Best One Tire. The track will then host the Second Annual Roy Bradbury Classic on July 13, featuring the Micro 600 Sprints. The events will continue with Dirt Drag Racing on July 14, followed by a Demolition Derby on July 15 and Truck and Tractor Pulls on July 16.
The inaugural season for the Complex will end in August with the Micro 600 Sprints on Aug. 12, KOI Dirt Drag Racing on Aug. 19 and the Fall Truck and Tractor Pulls on Aug. 20.
The Complex is still looking for anyone willing to help get the facility ready for its first season or anyone interested in being a sponsor. For more information, contact the fair office at (574) 269-1823.
