NEW PARIS — The New Paris Motor Speedway will honor those who have served with an Armed Forces Recognition Night on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Anyone who has a military ID card or has served in the U.S. military will be admitted for free, while anyone with a DAV, American Legion or VFW card will get in for just $5.
Gates open at 1 p.m. with hot laps starting at 3 p.m. Qualifying starts at 4:30 p.m. and racing begins at 7 p.m. The Elite Distributing Late Model Sportsman’s will take the track for its 40-lap main event at 9 p.m.
